2026 Youth Social Venture Enterprise Fostering Project

  • Startup Support including Commercialization Funds (up to 20 million won), Capacity Building Education, In-depth Mentoring, and IR Pitching Day -

Incheon National University (President Lee In-jae) announced that it will actively support the activities of the 8 selected teams of the '2026 Youth Social Venture Enterprise Fostering Project,' which discovers and fosters youth social venture enterprises to solve urban problems in the Incheon region.

Evaluating primarily on the ability to solve pending issues in the Incheon region, idea novelty, idea specificity, idea marketability, and team composition status, 8 social venture startup teams aiming to solve social problems with innovative technologies were selected. These include Bitnaon with its 'Wearable Braille Display Luminix' and Healrock with its 'Manual Wheelchair Module with Uphill Reverse Prevention and Downhill Deceleration Functions.'

To realize the business items of young entrepreneurs, the selected startup companies will be supported with practical commercialization funds (up to 20 million won), capacity building education, expert mentoring, and an IR Pitching Day.

In particular, to alleviate corporate manpower shortages and expand youth employment, the university plans to provide up to 2 million won per youth to companies that newly hire youths in the Incheon region in connection with the 'I-SEIF Hope Jobs* (ESG Co-prosperity Fund)' project.

Incheon National University (President Lee In-jae) stated, "We hope this will be a practical help to the growth of startup teams dreaming of becoming social venture enterprises, and we hope it will contribute to job creation in the region through demonstration, purchasing, and market expansion within the Incheon region, serving as a foundation for the creation of a local industrial ecosystem."
