Professor Park Kyung-min, Major of Bioengineering

Professor Park Kyung-min of the Major of Bioengineering at Incheon National University has been named to the 2024 “World’s Top 2% Scientists” list jointly released by global academic publisher Elsevier and Stanford University.

This recognition is based on a comprehensive evaluation of citation metrics and scholarly impact among approximately nine million researchers worldwide across multiple disciplines, and is regarded as an authoritative indicator of global research influence.

Professor Park has consistently produced outstanding research outcomes in advanced biomaterials, including bioactive polymer hydrogel materials, intelligent wound-healing technologies, and AI–bio convergence platforms. This selection formally acknowledges his global impact in the field of advanced biomaterials.

Professor Park stated, “I am deeply honored to be included in such a globally prestigious list of researchers,” adding, “This achievement is made possible by the excellent research infrastructure at Incheon National University, the collaborative faculty, and the dedication of student researchers.”
