Incheon National University School of Law members are busy starting from the beginning of the new semester in 2025. Incheon National University School of Law, where the first batch of freshmen entered in 1981, has brought 54 new students from the 45th batch of students this year, and all of them have stepped up their sleeves to hold a meaningful event to inherit tradition and history.
In addition, the unique culture of Incheon National University's School of Law, which presents law codes to new students every year with funds raised by alumni, has continued since 1996, and the "2025 Law School Spring" event was held under four themes on March 13 (Thursday) to save the meaning of the School of Law ceremony, which marks its 30th anniversary this year.
More than 150 professors, students, and alumni attended the "2025 School of Law Spring" event, which consisted of the inauguration ceremony of the 28th School of Law Students' Association of Incheon National University, the presentation ceremony of the new student law code, the 45th anniversary of the establishment of the School of Law, a special lecture on career and a general meeting of law students, and the opening of the school.
Park Jong-tae, president of Incheon National University, who attended the School of Law presentation ceremony for freshmen, said in a congratulatory speech, "I sincerely respect the alumni's love for the knowledge of the jurist to be passed down to the freshmen, which is a long tradition unique to Incheon National University's School of Law today and has become the pride of its members."
In addition, Park Jae-eok, the chief prosecutor of the Incheon District Prosecutors' Office, who attended the event as a foreign guest, said in a congratulatory speech, "Students of the School of Law at Incheon National University, who dream of becoming lawmakers, will study legal texts and take the lead in fairness and justice by combining insights into social issues."
As a result, Shim Woo-jung, then chief prosecutor of the Incheon District Prosecutors' Office, and Song Kang, then chief prosecutor of the Incheon District Prosecutors' Office, have been linked to participate in the Incheon University School of Law's spring event for three consecutive years.
Meanwhile, a large number of alumni, including lawyers from Incheon National University's School of Law, attended the event, and Ahn Gui-ok, an 83rd and 3rd class alumnus, visited his alma mater, followed by hot hospitality from the 45th new students and students who entered this year.

In particular, Roh Young-don, Minister of Foreign Cooperation, Lee Choong-hoon, Professor Kim Soo-jin, Professor Kim Ho, Professor Jin Do-wang, Professor Jang Seok-young, Professor Jeong Bae-geun, alumni lawyer Ahn Gui-hyun, and freshmen Lee Ji-hoo participated in the cake cutting ceremony to mark the end of the event, celebrating the 45th anniversary of the establishment of Incheon National University's School of Law and wishing for "strong progress."
Hong Soo-jin, an alumnus lawyer, said, "I cannot forget the love and grace I received from my alma mater when I was an undergraduate student, and I am grateful to be invited to a meaningful event today," adding, "If my alma mater visits me for my juniors in the School of Law in the future, I will run with joy."
Lee Choong-hoon, the head of the School of Law at Incheon National University, who organized the event, said, "I would like to thank the members of the School of Law for attending the event to commemorate the 45th anniversary," adding, "We will continue to take the lead in nurturing talents such as strengthening students' major skills and career design and continue the tradition and history of the School of Law."
