- Students meeting all requirements for academic status, student aid income bracket, and academic performance may be chosen.
- Students become ineligible if a change in the student aid income bracket results in failure to meet the applicable requirement.
- Students whose student aid income bracket has not been finalized are ineligible.
- National Work-Study Scholarship recipients cannot work at a workplace involving a personal interest or relationship between the student and the workplace supervisor.
- Work must end immediately upon any change in academic status. (Scholarship funds paid for work performed after the academic status change must be returned.)
- Concurrent participation in the On-Campus Service Scholarship or another work-study scholarship program operated by the Korea Student Aid Foundation is unavailable.

The maximum work hours per semester may change depending on the budget allocated by the Korea Student Aid Foundation.
Scholarship Payment

- The monthly scholarship amount is calculated based on the attendance record submitted to the university: hourly rate × total monthly work hours.
- The hourly scholarship rate may change according to future operating guidelines issued by the Korea Student Aid Foundation.
- Scholarships are paid only to students who have paid tuition in full. Students who have unpaid tuition or use an installment payment plan are ineligible.
- The scholarship is generally deposited around the 15th day of the following month into the student’s account registered at the Korea Student Aid Foundation.
- Scholarship payment is unavailable for work details entered after the attendance record has been submitted to the university.
- Daily attendance records may be entered by the minute. Total monthly work hours are recognized in 30-minute increments.
- Under the Public Finance Recovery Act, fraudulent work records, substitute work, or work performed by another person may result in repayment of up to five times the improperly received amount.
